We are proud to provide personalized and caring services to Marsden Park individuals. Our business is built on the carers, and we aim to select people with not only the required qualifications but also respect and understanding most valued in providing the highest standard of caring. Each client is treated as an individual, and our carers are trained to provide personalized services that meet the individual’s own needs.
Our caregivers come from varied backgrounds but share one purpose: to provide the individuals they work with transportation an increased level of comfort in their quality of life. Some caregivers have been trained in particular to provide dementia, mobility, and palliative care. This enables them to provide both general and condition-specific care. Our caregivers are skilled in assisting individuals to live comfortably where they can preserve their independence and dignity.
Safety and welfare are our primary concern, and we organize frequent background checks, training, and supervision for all our carers. We aim to provide high standards of care, and to do so, we provide constant support and professional development to staff. Our carers also work together with clients and their families to ensure the care plans are tailored to meet changing needs.
We understand that the interaction between a carer and the individual they are caring for is a relation built on trust, and we endeavour to establish a strong, professional working relation between them. Whatever the provision may be, either in the form of assistance with daily activities, social interaction, or tailored care, our carers stand ready to help when help is most needed.
Our carers listen and learn to understand the individual’s needs and preferences so they feel in control and valued during their care. We understand how much independence is valued, and our carers help individuals to remain in their own homes as long as possible in the comfort and familiarity they are used to.
With regards to financing home care services, there are a variety of funding sources through which you can be supported to get the required care. Both government and non-government sponsored funding sources are available, and they vary in the level of support. As a registered home care agency, we help individuals find their way through learning about and applying to the funding sources best able to provide their needs.
Government Funded
Home Care Packages
The Australian Government offers Home Care Packages to eligible individuals and individuals in need of help with daily activities. The purpose is to help aged Australians continue to reside in their own homes as long as possible. There are four levels, ranging from low-care needs (Level 1) to high-care needs (Level 4), so the appropriate level of care can be delivered to the clients based on their needs.
The funding is based on what is found to be the individual’s needs, and the care plan may cover a range of services including personal care, nursing, domestic support, and transport. Home Care Packages are administered under the My Aged Care system, and we will help with the application, guide you through the eligibility assessment, and coordinate the package once approved.
For individuals with disability, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to help individuals live their day-to-day lives. NDIS funding is based on an individualized plan, which is designed specifically to meet the individual’s needs. The plan could include a broad array of services such as personal care, therapy, transport, and other support to enable independence and community inclusion.
We work with our clients and their families to guide them through the NDIS system, to access funding, and to make sure that what they are getting is supporting their goals and needs. The NDIS is designed to provide individuals with disability greater choice, and we aim to work with our clients to get as much out of their plan as possible.
Non-government funded
Private Home Care In addition to government funding, private payment is another mode of payment accepted by home care services. Private payment is able to provide flexibility regarding the quantity and extent of the care one is able to receive. In private home care, one is more autonomous when it comes to the care he or she is getting, as he or she is not held back by the restrictions placed by government-funded plans.
Private home care is also an excellent choice for an individual who does not qualify to receive government funding or who just wants to receive more personalized care. The kind of services that one can receive under private funding is also similar to those under government funding, including daily activities assistance, personal care, and companionship, to mention a few.
We offer private in-home care with transparent costs and adaptable care options. We work with every client to establish a care arrangement that is within their budget and addresses their requirements. If you have an intermittent requirement or ongoing support, we can help you to continue to live safely and comfortably in your own home.
We don’t expect that you will know where to start – we will guide you through every stage. If you are exploring government funding or contemplating private care, our employees are here to help and guide you.
