Short Term Accommodation (STA) or respite care provides individuals with disabilities with the alternative of a short-term environment transfer and a break for their caregivers. STA is best for participants with fewer needs for care and support for a shorter period, for instance, two days, a week, or more. STA can also be a trial period for individuals who want to live differently. Specialist Disability Accommodation
