We are
As an accredited Killara home care agency, we take pride in providing professional, caring, and reliable care to all our clients in recruitment. Our carers form the cornerstone of what we do, and we invest much time and effort in carefully recruiting, training, and supporting our carers to meet the individual needs of every one of our clients. Our carers are not just employees but respected partners in helping individuals to lead their lives as they would want, in comfort, dignity, and independence, within their own homes.
Our carers in the home are highly qualified, with extensive training in personal care, support services, and best practice caring for individuals with a range of health and mobility problems. They have extra training to provide support to individuals with dementia, physical disability, or other chronic conditions. They will work to establish an environment of respect and trust, where your needs and preferences are their first concern in the quality and extent of care they provide.
In addition to their professional training, our carers have the ability to provide understanding and compassion in their work and are thus able to form a real and sincere rapport with our clients. We understand that caring within the home is not just physical, but emotional and social welfare as well. Our carers are present to listen, to help, and to engage with our clients, perhaps simply through basic conversation, daily activities, or just being there.
We also subscribe to ongoing professional development, and our carers attend regular workshops, seminars, and training sessions to keep them abreast of the best available techniques and regulations. This guarantees our care is consistently of the highest standard.
We have a one-to-one response to every individual’s needs. From the moment we first meet a client, we personally match them with the most suitable carer to their needs, their preferences, and their personality. If you have a requirement to have help with household chores, personal care, help with mobility, or perhaps someone just to talk to, our carers will provide you with a personalized service to enhance your lifestyle.
Where there is the funding of the home care services, we understand that the options available to you may be overwhelming. We will guide you through the funding options so that you can receive the required care and organize the finances in the best possible way. Home care funding is divided into government and non-government funding.
Home Care Packages
The Home Care Package is an Australian government initiative that is designed to help individuals who are experiencing difficulty with daily activities but want to remain in their own homes. There are multiple levels available under the Home Care Packages, and they are determined by the individual’s needs. There are four, ranging from Level 1 (lower) to Level 4 (higher), and there is funding to help cover costs to have individuals receive services such as personal care, nursing, house modifications, domestic help, transport, and social support.
You will initially be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) so we can determine your level of requirement. Once you have been assessed and found to be eligible, the government pays the funding, and you may select a registered provider (e.g. ourselves) to arrange and deliver your care. We work with you to ensure the funding is used appropriately and to your desired standards.
NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
The NDIS is a government-funded scheme that is designed to support individuals under 65 with permanent and substantial impairments. It is an incredibly adaptable system whereby participants can receive an incredibly diverse range of caring and support services, including personal care, therapies, domestic alterations, and social interaction.
One must be assessed by either a NDIS planner or an LAC in order to receive NDIS funding as well as determine their funding level. Once eligible, one may engage providers like ourselves to provide them with services to help them meet their goals and enhance their lifestyle. We provide NDIS home care services that are individualized to the needs of every individual so that your plan is carried out with utmost care and attention.
Private Home Care
Besides government funding, one also possesses private home care as an alternative where one chooses to get services on a private basis and not from government funding. It is the best alternative if one is not eligible to get government funding or if one needs more flexibility and independence with the services. Private home care allows you to determine exactly what you want and organize it to suit your most convenient times, all while maintaining a high level of personalisation and independence.
Though private in-home care could come with out-of-pocket expenses, we work together with our customers to come up with affordable packages that fit their budget and lifestyle. In addition, we have payment plans to help everyone receive quality attention. If you have special needs or want to have more one-to-one attention, private in-home care gives you the option to customize your care to meet your individual needs, allowing you to have peace and comfort in your own house.
Should you be considering our home care services, first, call or reach out to us to arrange an initial consultation. We will assist you in understanding what options there are, respond to all your questions, and guide you through the process. The following is what you will find when you call us:
Initial Consultation
We begin by discussing your needs, aspirations, and preferences as they pertain to your care. We will listen to your personal situation and provide you with all the information you will need about the services we provide and how we fund them.
If you qualify for funding from the government, we can arrange an assessment by the relevant authorities, namely, an ACAT if you want to have a Home Care Package or a NDIS planner if you want to have disability care. We will guide you through what to expect.
Personalised
Once funding is confirmed, we will work together to establish a personalized care plan to meet your needs. The plan will outline the services you will receive, the carer we will provide to support you, and the roster that is most suitable to your lifestyle.
Begin Your Care
Once we have finalized your care plan, we will begin delivery. We will keep you regularly satisfied with your care, and we are happy to adjust the plan as your needs evolve.
