Choosing the right home care provider is an important decision, one that considers your needs, your wants, and the nature of the care that you require. Having a provider that not only offers the right services but also one that is like minded as yourself and aware of the importance of one-on-one attention is important.

When selecting a home care provider, take the following into account:

By carefully weighing these factors, you’re better equipped to make an informed decision that leads to the proper care for yourself or your loved one.

We are committed to providing quality, personal, adaptable, and empowering home care of the best possible standard. Here’s why you should have confidence in us as your home care provider of first choice:

We Are Adaptable

We understand that each individual is unique and that we are committed to providing a response to your changing needs. Whether short- or long-term, we offer adaptable care plans that can change to suit your personal needs.

We are Personal

We believe in a personal touch. Our carers take the time to discover more about you and your needs, and your care package is designed to fit your wishes and goals. We place great emphasis on forming a personal relationship with every client, sharing friendship and emotional support as much as assisting with the practical problems.

We Have Experience

Being a long-term home care provider, we have perfected the art of providing the quality of care. Our caregivers have received intensive training as well as have experience to cater to different levels of need, i.e., minimal as well as more complex medical needs.

We Are Empowering

We believe that care should leave you independent and not dependent. Our services exist to help you maintain your independence and your dignity as you continue to have the care that you require. Our goal is to promote autonomy, confidence, and wellbeing and to enable you to always feel in command of your care.

We acknowledge the importance of providing empathetic, professional, and individualized care to our clients in the familiarity of home. Our home carers have the experience and the training to provide the care to clients with different needs, ranging from the older person to the disabled. Our strength lies in the fact that we have home carers with not only the experience of caregiving but also the passion to promote the health and wellbeing of our clients.

We make sure that all of our home carers participate in a rigorous recruitment process, including background checks, learning qualifications, and a dedication to continued learning within the health sector. Our carers have different backgrounds, with different skill sets and qualifications, but they share one common aspect: a commitment to provide the best possible level of care that fosters independence, respect, and dignity to the clients they look after.

Our caregivers offer a variety of services depending on the individual needs of the client, such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, or support. They also have the capability to offer mobility help, cleaning the house, and transportation to enable the person to remain in the home without being lonely or overwhelmed with home life. Person-centred support with the client’s needs and desires always being the priority of the services we offer.

To us, the relationship between the carers and the clients is built on communication, respect, and trust. Our carers are professionals, but above all, they are companions who share an understanding of the personal and psychological needs of those they support. Our goal is to provide a positive and empowering atmosphere that puts the clients at ease and enables them to feel confident in the safety of home.

We also offer the opportunity of a supervising professional with a duty to examine the care plan on an ongoing basis, ensuring the services being provided by them take into account the needs of the client, and adjusting as necessary. Our clients have the benefit of the best quality of care as needs change.

Our home carers as a group are the backbone to the delivery of the care that brings about the well-being and independence of the people who need it and have a great bearing on the life of our client and families.

With home care services, you have multiple models of funding to fit your needs, your situation, and your level of eligibility. Funding models exist in two broad groupings: government-funded programs and non-government-funded models. Various levels of support and flexibility across the different models of funding exist to provide you with the opportunity to have your care in your home.

Government sponsored.

Home Care Packages: Home Care Packages (HCPs) are the most common form of government aid available to older people in need of support with daily living. They enable the individual to stay in the home for as long as possible, with a number of different services being available that could be coordinated to cater to individual needs. Four levels of the packages – ranging from Low-level needs for the level 1 to High-level, more complex needs for level 4 – exist. The Department of Health funds the packages, with the Australian government running them. A person can apply for a package through My Aged Care.

Upon approval of a package, it will be coordinated by an approved provider, including our organization, that will arrange the delivery of the services and the care. These include being provided by personal care, nursing, domestic maintenance, allied health services, transport support, and social support. Under the Home Care Packages, clients have more choice in choosing the services and the carers that suit the needs of the client’s particular circumstance.

NDIS: The NDIS is a government-funded system that is intended to support people with a disability. The NDIS funds people with a permanent and profound disability to access the support and services necessary to live a productive and independent life. Unlike the Home Care Packages that primarily support older people with a focus on the aged, the NDIS supports people of all ages that qualify.

The participants develop an individualized plan with a planner that outlines the support and services they require. They could include personal support funding, the cost of the therapies, travel, and social participation. The NDIS is highly versatile and is intended to provide the participants with more choices over the way they are supported so that they have the capacity to decide the provider, the service, and the carers that suit them best.

Non-Government Fund

Private homecare: For individuals that do not qualify for government schemes or do not want to have the homecare paid for by the government, private homecare is also available. Private homecare allows the clients to pay privately for the homecare with the added advantage of having the opportunity to have a say in the kind of services to be provided as well as the quality of the services. The services could be personal care, respite, nursing, housekeeping, or companionship.

Private home care is most helpful to those who need more autonomy with regard to their care as it gives them the freedom to select the caregivers of their choice and determine the hours of the caregiver. Private care is also available on short-term or long-term options depending on the client. Private home care is most likely to be chosen by the clients if they need additional support to the one they already have through government programs or they need a more tailored and personalized kind of care.

If you’re seeking home care for yourself or a loved one, the first step seems overwhelming. But being aware of your choices and having the proper support system in place makes it a lot easier. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what to do next:

Our Home Carers
